Description
Goat polyclonal to VEGFA. This protein is a member of the PDGF/VEGF growth factor family. It is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells and has various effects such as mediating increased vascular permeability, endothelial cell growth, promoting cell migration, inducing angiogenesis and inhibiting apoptosis.
Alternative names
MVCD1, RP1-261G23.1, VEGF, vascular permeability factor and VPF antibody.
Gene Identifier/Accession#
Gene ID: 7422, ENSG00000112715
Form
Polyclonal antibody supplied as a 200 µl (3 mg/ml) aliquot in PBS, 20% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide. This antibody is epitope-affinity purified from goat antiserum.
Concentration
3.00 mg/ml
Isotype
IgG
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugation
Unconjugated
Immunogen
Purified recombinant human VEGFA isoform 6 produced in E. coli.

Specificity
Detects endogenous levels of total VEGFA by Western blot in whole cell and tissue lysates.
Storage
For continuous use, store at 2-8 C for one-two days. For extended storage, store in -20 C freezer. Working dilution samples should be discarded if not used within 12 hours.
Special instructions
The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
