Description
Goat polyclonal antibody to MAP17. MAP17, also known as PDZK1-interacting protein 1 (PDZK1IP1), is a small membrane-associated protein of approximately 17 kDa that is highly expressed in epithelial tissues, particularly in the kidney proximal tubules. MAP17 contains a single transmembrane domain and a C-terminal PDZ-binding motif, allowing interaction with PDZ domain-containing scaffold proteins such as PDZK1. The protein has been implicated in membrane transport regulation, sodium-dependent transport processes, and cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) signaling.
