Description
-
Goat polyclonal antibody to TagGFP. TagGFP is a monomeric green fluorescent protein derived from the jellyfish Aequorea macrodactyla. It is an engineered GFP-like protein designed to provide high brightness and improved photostability. TagGFP has a molecular weight of approximately 27 kDa, with optimal excitation at ~482 nm and maximum emission at ~505 nm. It is widely used in molecular and cell biology as a fluorescent reporter to label proteins and study cellular processes such as protein localization, trafficking, and gene expression. The antibody recognizes TagGFP and TagGFP-tagged fusion proteins and can be used to detect their expression in various experimental systems, including Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation.
